eating well and feeling good

We offer nutrition education that meets you where you are – as a whole person, making lots of choices for you and your family, in a complex world, everyday.

We’re glad you’re here. Welcome.

What we believe

We believe that when it comes to food and nutrition,  you know yourself best, and you know which foods make your body feel good. Our nutrition education is here to support you, to offer resources, and to remind you that you do not have to be perfect to feel healthy and good in your body.

a different approach to nutrition education

we support you

We know the challenge to eating healthy is often less about basic knowledge and more about having money to buy produce, having the time to cook, or having the confidence to try new recipes.

We’re here to guide you through noticing and identifying which foods make your body feel good and energized, support you in building eating habits around those foods, and offer resources and recipes to help you in your journey to feeling healthy in your body.

we trust you

Our nutrition messaging curriculum is designed to be simple, informative, and affirming. We believe that most people generally know which foods are healthy and which are not.

We share more than basic information about food and shopping. We offer information about connecting with your body and hunger cues, and we encourage you to consider your own family, situation, and lifestyle when deciding what foods to eat and what changes to make in your life.

we put healthy eating in perspective.

We understand that what we eat is not just determined by our individual choices, but also by larger forces at play in our world. As such, we also share information about the food industry as part of our education. The food and grocery industries determine much of what is on the shelves, how much sugar or salt the products have, and what price we pay for which foods. The sales of ultra processed items and beverages that make us sick are making them profits.

Registered dietitians discuss self management of chronic illnesses, food and nutrition goals, and answer any questions participants may have.
