Eat Well

Eat Well offers $40 per month for fruits and vegetables to eligible Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program members for up to 12 months.

Eligible members can enroll through October 31, 2024. Participation is limited.

Once eligible members enroll, they will get a card in the mail from Eat Well. The card takes about 10-20 days to arrive in the mail. The card comes with instructions to activate the card by phone or online.

Once the card is activated, participants will have access to $40 per month for the duration of the prescription.

  • Participants can use the card to buy fresh, frozen, and canned fruits and vegetables with no added salts, sugars, or fats.

  • Participating Eat Well stores include Food Lion, Walmart, walmart.com, Instacart, and Dollar General.

  • Eat Well benefits will not pay for any service or delivery fees associated with online retailers. You will need to enter your Eat Well card number and personal credit/debit card information as payment methods to redeem Eat Well benefits through these available retailers.

  • Participants can choose their own fruits and vegetables to purchase.

  • Participants can spend their funds on multiple trips to the grocery store.

Note: This is a limited time program that can change or be discontinued at any time.
